Harvey admits his knowledge of the Mayor's vote rigging scam. When Mel assumes the only reason Roo is sticking by him is because he has used their child’s death to make her feel sorry for him, he corrects her and explains that that isn’t the case, unaware that Sid has told Roo about Harvey’s past. When Harvey learns that Roo does in fact know about his son Ben's death, he pushes her away.

John releases information to journalists accusing Harvey of rigging the council elections. Harvey reveals his culpability to Roo, who’s angry he’s only telling her now he’s backed into a corner. Harvey resigns from the council but bears the brunt of an angry public – in the form of a punch in the face from a stranger whilst he is in the diner.

The news spreads about Romeo and Ruby getting together, which is a kick in the guts for Indi. Logan confirms Indi’s moved on from her marriage and their relationship continues as well. Romeo and Indi try to keep their defenses up, not wanting to let on their jealousies.

Indi doesn’t have anything to wear to Logan’s business soiree – until one arrives as a gift from him. She’s not sure it feels right, especially when it seems Romeo might want to give it another try. But when Romeo sees the present and insinuates she’s gold-digging, Indi rubs her date with Logan in Romeo’s face.
